Judge Roy Moore has won the Alabama runoff for the December Senate election. He'll face a hand-picked Democrat challenger in a contest that most people have pegged him to win. Moore is a firm believer in God, the country, and the Constitution. And even more importantly, he is staunchly against the cozy cartel that runs the GOP.
Senate majority leader, Mitch McConnel was at the head of a Super PAC of over $10 million dollars to fight against Moore. Why would the Republicans be spending so much money to beat one of their own candidates? Because he will shake them from their swamp and push ahead with MAGA agenda.
In his victory speech, he talked about the influence and the actions he would take once he is the Senate:
“As long as it’s constitutional, as long as it advance our society, our culture, our country, I will be supportive. As long as it’s constitutional. But we have to return to knowledge of God and the Constitution of the United States to the United States Congress.”
And for those that worry that our great institutions have strayed too far from the path of the Constitution, he said:
“We have become a nation that has distanced ourselves from the very foundation. Washington said that of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.”
Although the President supported his opponent Luther Strange, Moore will be a strong advocate of the Make America Great Again platform, and a fiery opponent to not just Democrats, but to Republicans who are not putting the interests of the American people first.
