Steve Bannon has apologized to the president in a long statement that points out he was not referring to Don Jr. when he made the comments about “treasonous” behavior.
We know Donald Trump in a way that we haven't known other presidents. His use of Twitter and his actual love of real folks puts him in a different category to the cardboard cut-out politicians of recent years. And one thing we absolutely know is that The Donald is loyal to his family. So when Bannon's comments about his son came out, could we expect any other reaction?
You may or may not like Steve Bannon, but it is pretty clear that he is committed to the MAGA agenda, and this is far more important for the future of America than personal relationships.
“Donald Trump Jr. is both a patriot and a good man. He has been relentless in his advocacy for his father and the agenda that has helped turn our country around.”
“My support is also unwavering for the president and his agenda — as I have shown daily in my national radio broadcasts, on the pages of Breitbart News and in speeches and appearances from Tokyo and Hong Kong to Arizona and Alabama. President Trump was the only candidate that could have taken on and defeated the Clinton apparatus. I am the only person to date to conduct a global effort to preach the message of Trump and Trumpism, and I remain ready to stand in the breach for this president’s efforts to make America great again.”
He may have been slow in getting to this, but he is a patriot in a world where there are too few real ones. I think we should seriously consider his apology as a real and heartfelt action. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section!
