Hillary Clinton has released a lengthy Facebook post to deal with rumors that she is a vicious hatemonger. Did her lengthy open post satisfy? Or did she dig herself even deeper into the abyss? Here's an excerpt
“I was also asked about women, specifically white women, the majority of whom have not voted for Democrats in recent history. I did better with them than previous Democratic nominees, but still lost them overall to a candidate who relies on scare tactics and false attacks, masking the fact that he is otherwise no friend to most Americans.”
So still the same old stuff.
And this shouldn't be a problem, except for the fact that there are many in the DNC who refuse to distance themselves from her. In much the same way that Bernie Sanders has become an embarrassing pariah in Democrat circles (they only want him for his email lists), she still has supporters that don't want to vote for someone new. They are Clinton loyalists and their votes make a difference.
And here's the overall problem: The Democrats have become so ideologically driven that any candidate who wants to stand has to have a singular set of “values” that mimics the party line. They want cardboard cutouts who will not be greater than the party itself. Their red line? Must be pro-abortion, taxpayer-funded, available to all without question. Anyone who falls outside of this need not apply.
