Marquis Evans-Royster, 27, reportedly attacked a disabled white homeless man, as he spit in the man's face and yelled “You owe me for making my grandmother a slave.”
The victim tried to ignore Marquis Evans-Royster's remarks until the assailant began running his pockets, reported WJLA-TV.
When bystanders tried to intervene, Evans-Royster charged at them and spit repeatedly on the homeless man. Even going as far as to threaten to throw urine on the victim.
Evans-Royster fled the scene after the bus driver stepped in and told the him he was going to call the police, but not before ripping one of the side view mirrors off.
According to the bus driver Evans-Royster referred to all white people as evil and told two white passengers that they should die.
Evans-Royster was arrested on September 28th at a local subway station. He was charged with race/religious harassment, robbery, theft and second-degree assault. If convicted he could face up to 30 years in prison. Court records revealed that Evans-Royster has an extensive criminal record, which could factor into the judges verdict.
Nothing has done more to hold back race relations in the modern world than victim culture. The deep hatred, intolerance and popular misconceptions it breeds create a false sense of justification to carry out such heinous acts.
