Betty Shelby, 43, was acquitted after a week-long trial. She denied race was a factor in the shooting. She insisted her actions were driven entirely by the behavior of the suspect. Videos of the shooting were seen globally. Race baiters and some civil rights advocates have argued that race was a factor. Lawyers for Shelby have said she believed that Crutcher may have been trying to reach through a window for a gun in the vehicle when she shot him.
Jurors were visibly emotional and some cried when the verdict was read by the judge some nine hours after they began deliberating.
Black lives matter protesters responded with their usual tactics. Protesters committed acts of commercial terrorism by blocking off public roads. Protesters weren't too concerned with possible emergency vehicles that may have to get to the hospital, all the protesters cared about is raising a big stink because they lost another case.

Eventually the crowd dispersed after police threatened to use “chemical agents.”
That must be the 100th time a police officer was acquitted after #blacklivesmatter cried racism. You'd think after that many loses, dealt by jurors of all races, that #blacklivesmatter would get the point, however, it appears they still have not.[mks_button size=”large” title=”CBS News” style=”rounded” url=”http://www.cbsnews.com/news/betty-shelby-acquittal-terence-crutcher-protests-tulsa-cop/” target=”_blank” bg_color=”#1e73be” txt_color=”#FFFFFF” icon=”fa-newspaper-o” icon_type=”fa” nofollow=”0″]
